The magic of the mountains
The missions of the new Childhood & Mountain Endowment Fund is multiple. Encouraging and offering the chance for children to break away from the computer screens and social media channels for a few days is paramount. Reconnecting with nature and more particularly with the mountains and being aware of the concepts of environmental protection, all count as major objectives.
In 2020, The National Union of French Ski Instructors (SNMSF) created the Enfance & Montagne Endowment Fund (Childhood & Mountain Endowment Fund). It financially supports educational projects linked to the mountains which is something the Syndicate wishes to encourage and retain the tradition of doing so. For children, the discoveries are rich in it's delivery of the learning of the environment, the learning of autonomy and community life and the practice of sports and cultural activities. The key, unforgettable memories that will perhaps make. to be of them the future ambassadors of the mountain, tomorrow.
Committed to the Youth
The SNMSF, at the origin of this project, is convinced that the values supported by these discovery classes are essential to help the well-being, the development and the education of our children.
It is with conviction that the SNMSF affirms its commitment to youth through the Enfance & Montagne endowment fund, and hopes to give back to mountain discovery classes their place in the school educational journey.
Benefit of the Discovery Classes
Childhood & Mountain will redistribute all of the funds collected via a financial endowment allocated directly to discovery classes organised by elementary schools.
Le Syndicat National des Moniteurs du Ski Français, fondateur de « Enfance & Montagne », attribuera un don de 200 000 € pour le premier exercice 2020/2021.
