Founded in 1951, the esf ski school in Le Grand Bornand is perfect for all the family. With other activities on offer apart from skiing and snowboarding lessons such as Alpine skiing and freestyle there is enough to keep you busy throughout your stay. The perfect place to have fun both with your family and the new friends you will make, our school in Le Grand Bornand will allow you to harness your skills and flourish your abilities! From children aged 3, to teens and finally to adults, there are classes and activities for everyone to enjoy. You have the opportunity to book private lessons – tailored for your individual needs or take part in social skiing group lessons which will allow you to learn alongside those at the same level of ability.

Here at Le Grand Bornand, we also offer the opportunity to join our cross-country ski school. Available for those of all levels, the cross-country ski school gives you the chance to breathe and recharge whilst on your winter escape. From cross-country skiing to skating, Biathlon, Snowshoeing, Back-country and Nordic Walking in private lessons and group lessons, this alternative to skiing and snowboarding lessons are uniquely tailored to fit whatever you desire.

The rich and diversified ski area offers 47 alpine slopes of all levels in 4 connected sectors and its 58 km of Nordic slopes. Thanks to the excellent maintenance of the area, combined with generous snow cover and significant artificial snow cover, you can enjoy the pleasures of skiing from the beginning of December to the end of April.
