My wife and I had 9 private lessons with Florian during our two week stay in Chamonix. My wife was learning to ski again after a long illness whereas I am a "rusty" intermediate. Flo was brilliant in adapting to suit our needs, an excellent teacher and made skiing fun for us. He was very intuitive in judging how much to challenge us, so that we felt achievement each day without loss of enjoyment. Office staff also very helpful except on one occasion.

It went too steep too fast for me before I was ready. I ended up quitting to not keep the class behind, and to take my time to practise. Instructor Olivier was very helpful and patient, although the pace of the class ended up splitting to a faster pace for the kids/teenagers, and a slower pace for the adults. Might be good, if enough interest in the future, to keep kids and adults separate.

Mathieu in Flaine ( Feb 24th to 1st March) was fantastic . He arrived promptly , was enthusiastic and very professional. He spoke to all the waiting parents and children. He waited to the end of every session till all the children were safely with their parents as we had two drop off sites . He taught my eldest daughter- Amelia and she had the best ski holiday ever! Carl tought my youngest daughter - Alexis and was kind and thoughtful as she was the only English speaking child in the class . Both were so much fun that both my daughters want to be ski instructors in the future !!! Inspirational ! We will be back
